Join us for a weekend of building!

FigBuild is Figma's annual design competition for students.

This year, students across the U.S., Canada, India, and Australia are invited to build with Figma Make. Teams of 2-4 will compete for $30,000 in total cash prizes, including a $10,000 grand prize.

In the days leading up to the competition, join us for a series of free virtual workshops and panels, open to all university students. Each session is designed to help you strengthen your skills before the building begins.

Eligibility

  • Must be 18+
  • Must be a currently enrolled university student
  • Must be attending a school in the U.S., Canada, Australia, or India
  • Must complete the education verification process for Figma
  • Teams must be 2-4 students

What you’ll build

  • With your team, you’ll design a digital product according to a speculative design prompt
  • Your team will work together to create a thoughtfully designed, creative, and persuasive solution
  • You’ll spend the weekend using Figma’s products (including Figma Make, Figma Design, and Figma Draw, etc.) to design your project submission
  • You’ll submit your project alongside a short demo video to pitch your design
